The chief's head in a full feather headdress sits in a raised panel on the body with BIG CHIEF running across it, and the whole bottle is worked in a fine waffle-grid texture that catches light from every angle. The shoulder band reads SODA WATER over PROPERTY OF COCA-COLA BOTTLING CO. The base is embossed BOGALUSA LA. with the mold code 26 S. That base is the whole story: this is not a generic bottle with a Louisiana sticker on it — it was made for and used by the Coca-Cola bottler in Bogalusa, Washington Parish, and the town's name is molded into the glass. Condition is excellent. No chips, no cracks, no flea bites — checked by hand. Every bit of the embossing is crisp and fully readable, the lip is clean, and it stands straight.
