1986 Mattel Popple — original bonnet, bib and rattle tail
A real one from the peak of the '80s — 1986 Mattel Baby Cribsy Popple, still wearing her original pastel star-print bonnet and bib. Curly pink hair, lime green ears and paw pads, and that soft yellow tummy. The pink-and-orange pom tail still rattles, and the purple hood on her back is intact so she still pops in and out the way she's supposed to. Honest condition: she's been loved. Plush is soft and full with no rips, tears, or open seams, and all her pieces are here — but there's scattered soiling and a handful of small dark spots on the lower body and legs, and light graying on the white plush. Nothing structural, and she'd likely brighten up with a careful surface cleaning. Original manufacturer's tag is still attached and readable. Photographed exactly as she'll ship.
