Handmade soft-sculpture baby doll from around the 1980s, approximately 20 to 22 inches long. The needle-sculpted face has closed eyes with embroidered lashes, a small red smile and pale yellow looped yarn hair. The shaping continues through the fingers, toes, dimpled knees and belly button. There is a small worn hole on one sole, light age soiling and a few marks on the face and limbs. The fabric has yellowed with age. No maker’s tag is present.
