A green-aqua soda water bottle from the Coca-Cola bottler in Bogalusa, Louisiana. Embossed stars ring the shoulder — that is where collectors get the name — over a shoulder band reading SODA WATER with 6.5 FL. OZS. below it, and the body carries BOGALUSA LA. embossed inside raised panels on both sides, all set in the same fine waffle-grid texture. The base is embossed PROPERTY OF COCA-COLA BOTT CO, BOGALUSA, LA. around a center C. Two separate places on one bottle where the town is molded into the glass. For anybody in Washington Parish, that is the piece — not a reproduction, not a sticker, the real bottle that came off a local line. The glass has that soft green cast that only comes with age, and it lights up beautifully on a windowsill. Condition is excellent — no chips, no cracks, no flea bites, checked by hand. The embossing is sharp the whole way around, the lip is clean, and it stands straight.
