Object PhotoInside a JYDSK Hand-Crank Telephone

This is a Danish JYDSK Telefon-Aktieselskab magneto desk telephone, attributed to Emil Møller's Model 1914 family, circa 1914–1915. Sold as-is, electrically untested.

What you can see without opening it: black enameled steel housing, the JYDSK crest, gold pinstriping, an antler-style cradle, a hand-crank magneto, period handset hardware, and original-style cloth-covered wiring. The wiring is heavily deteriorated and frayed. Finish loss, oxidation, scratches, and age wear are visible throughout. It has not been refinished, repainted, or polished.

What the photos are for

On a phone this old, the useful questions are visible ones. Does the crank still sit in the housing? How far is the cloth wrap gone? Is the crest readable? Close photos of the crest, cradle, wiring, and overall wear are in the listing so you can judge that yourself.

Sold as-is, untested. If you need a specific angle, a measurement, or a closer look at the magneto, ask before you offer.

This telephone is listed at $199 OBO. You can buy at the asking price on Stripe or send an offer first. Local pickup is in Franklinton, Louisiana. Continental U.S. shipping can be quoted from your ZIP. View the listing for the full photo set and condition notes.
