Reverse Glass, a Deer Head, and a Signature That Stops at GW '80

This is a reverse painting on glass: a buck or deer head in profile, painted on the glass over a burlap ground, in a rustic wood frame with a burlap liner. You view the paint through the glass. Lower right is signed GW '80.

The glass looks intact in the photos. The frame shows age: edge nicks, finish wear, and darkening. The back is stained and foxed fiberboard with a metal sawtooth hanger stamped Nail Spotters / Bull Dog / Chgo. 10. Ill. / Pat. Pend. The hanger is mounted.

If you need a measurement, a raking-light shot of the signature, or a closer look at the hanger, ask before you offer.
